Culture

Being responsible for the daily publication of the Culture section of the Metro newspaper was one of the biggest challenges of my career so far. It served as an opportunity to learn in practice everything a journalist needs to do their job completely.

Every day, I spent a lot of time looking for suitable topics for the newspaper, whose audience is heterogeneous, and I was concerned with giving variety to the articles. On my radar, I needed to be aware of everything: films, series, albums, shows, plays, comics, events and other news on the cultural calendar.

But it was not just that. I also had to organize myself to, on a daily basis, refine the agenda, write the articles, plan when it would be interesting to publish them, look for images and even layout the pages – or ask the art team to help me with more ambitious projects.
